Craps Rules

In a craps game, the players place bets on the outcome of the roll of the dice. The player who rolls the dice is called the shooter. Every player at the table gets a chance to roll the dice. As the game begins, the shooter and the players places either a pass line bet or a don’t pass line bet. The shooter then rolls the dice and the first roll of dice is known as the come-out roll.

Craps Rules

The Come-Out Roll: If the come out roll shows a 7 or 11, then the pass line bet wins and the don't pass bets lose. If the come out roll shows a 2, 3 or 12, then the pass line bet loses and the don't pass line bet either wins or becomes a tie. If the come out roll shows a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, then that number becomes the player's box point Casiqo-Casino.com. The shooter rolls the dice until he or she rolls the point number again or craps out by rolling a 7. If the box point number is rolled, then pass line bet wins and don't pass line bet loses. If a 7 is rolled before the point number, then pass line bets lose and don't pass bets win.

Craps Combination and Odds: There are 11 possible numbers in the craps game ranging from 2 to 12. And for each roll of the dice there are 36 possible outcomes. 7 is the most probable number to be rolled. On the other hand, 2 and 12 are the least probable outcomes. And the pairs having equal probabilities are: 3 & 11, 4 & 10, 5 & 9, and 6 & 8.

Craps Bets: There are two basic bets available in the game of craps. One is the roll bets which are determined by the next roll of the dice and the other one is the sequence bets which require several rolls of the dice before deciding the results. The various bets available in craps game are pass line bets, don’t pass line bets, come bets, don’t come bets, odds bets, place bets, proposition bets, hard way bets, any seven bet, any craps bet, and many more.

Pass Line Bets: A pass line bet is a bet that is placed before the come out roll. A bet on the pass line wins if the come out roll is 7 or 11, and loses if the come out roll is 2, 3, or 12. If any other number is rolled, that number becomes the box point. If the shooter rolls the point again before rolling a 7, the pass line bet wins. But if the shooter rolls a 7 before rolling the box point again, the pass line bet loses.

Don't Pass Line Bets: A don't pass line bet is the opposite of a pass line bet and is also placed before the come out roll. If the come out roll is 3 or 12, a don't pass line bet wins. But if the come out roll is 7 or 11, the don't pass line bets lose. And if the come out roll is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, that number becomes the box point and to win the best the shooter has to roll a 7 before rolling the point again. If the shooter rolls the point again before rolling a 7, the don't pass line bets lose.

Come Bets: A come bet is placed before any roll of the dice, after the point has been drawn by the come out roll. Come bets win if the shooter's next roll is 7 or 11, and lose if the roll is 2, 3, or 12. If the shooter rolls 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, that number becomes the come point and the shooter has to roll the come point again before rolling a 7 to win the bet.

Don't Come Bets: A don't come bet is the opposite of a come bet. Don't come bets win when the shooter's next roll is 3 or 12, and lose if the roll is 7 or 11. After the come point is drawn, don't come bets win if 7 is rolled and lose the bet if the come point is rolled again.
